Consider the boundary value problem \[ y''+(\lambda+q(x))y=0,\quad 0<x<\ell,\quad y(0)=y(\ell)=0,\tag{*} \] where the class of potentials \(q\) can contain \(\delta\)-functions as summands. The authors determine the asymptotic behavior of eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of (*) and a trace formula.
