Verf. zeigt, daß\ das Vorgehen \textit{Sommerfeld}s in seiner Theorie der elektrischen Leitfähigkeit, nämlich die \textit{Fermi-Dirac}-Statistik zugrundezulegen und doch die Zusammenstöß\ e der Elektronen mit den Metallatomen nach der klassischen Methode zu berechnen, berechtigt ist, weil die durch die neue Statistik hinzukommenden Terme unter den speziellen bei der Behandlung der Leitfähigkeit gemachten Annahmen fortfallen.
