Eine Biographie von \textit{D. Amanzio}, geboren in Marano (bei Neapel) 2. Februar 1854, gestorben in Neapel 17. Juni 1908; er war Professor der Mathematik in verschiedenen Mittelschulen von Neapel und Privatdozent an der Universität. Man verdankt ihm mehrere Abhandlungen algebraischer Natur und ein vortreffliches Lehrbuch der elementaren Algebra.
