Ein ebenes Kurvennetz: \(y_1x_1^n+y_2x_2^n+y_3x_3^n=0\) (wo \(x_1:x_2:x_3\) Punktkoordinaten, \(y_1:y_2:y_3\) Parameter) enthält \(\frac{3}{2}(n-1)(n-2)\times (3n^2-3n-11)\) Kurven mit zwei Doppelpunkten und \(12(n-1)(n-2)\) Kurven mit einem Doppelpunkt. Die Klasse der \textit{Zeuthen}schen Kurve, d. h. der Umhüllungskurve der Doppelpunktstangenten des Netzes, ist \(3(n-1)(2n-3)\).
