Der Verfasser zeigt, wie man die Quaternionen auf Plückers Geometrie der geraden Linie anwenden kann. Der Nutzen dieser Anwendung besteht in einer Vereinfachung der Rechnungen und in der Vermeidung der Unterscheidung von Fällen, die durch die Wahl der Coordinaten hervorgerufen werden.
