This article treats multi-dimensional diffusion governed by a stochastic integral equation. The problem is very general but in the simplest case it reduces to a convection-diffusion equation with convection terms which are periodic in spatial coordinates. Assuming that one period greatly exceeds others, the author shows that at least two distinct Gaussian phases, initial and final, occur as time progresses. In some cases, non-Gaussian intermediate phases appear as well.
