The enviroment for a tagged particle is represented by \(\xi _t\in \{0,1\}^{\mathbb Z}\) that describes the configuration at time \(t\) of infinitely many particles moving in \(\mathbb Z\) according to continuous-time, symmetric, nearest-neighbour random walks with the exclusion rule. The tagged particle moves according to an asymmetric random walk respecting the exclusion rule, too. Its position at time \(t\) is \(X_t\in \mathbb Z\). The authors and \textit{S. Olla} [Commun. Math. Phys. 192, No. 2, 287-307 (1998; Zbl 0911.60085)] have shown that \(X_{tN^2}/N\) converges to a real value in probability for some distributions of \(\xi _0\) with \(X_0=0\). It is proved here that, for a reversible invariant initial distribution of \(\xi _0\) when observed from the tagged particle, and \(X_0=0\), the finite-dimensional distributions of \(X_{tN^2}/\sqrt {N}\) tend to finite-dimensional distributions of a mean zero Gaussian process.
