The authors consider invariant Einstein metrics on the quaternionic Stiefel manifold $V_p\mathbb{H}^n\cong \operatorname{Sp}(n) / \operatorname{Sp}(n-p)$ of all $p$-frames in $\mathbb{H}^n$. They prove that if $n=3$ and $n=4$, $V_2\mathbb{H}^n$ admits eight such invariant Einstein metrics.
