The paper deals with the biharmonic equation \[ \Delta^2 u - \dfrac{C}{|x|^4}u-|x|^\sigma |u|^q=0 \] in the exterior of an \(n\)-dimensional ball, with \(0\leq C< (n(n-4)/4)^2,\) \(q>1\) and \(\sigma>-4.\) The main result provides a sufficient condition for nonexistence of global solutions.
