The paper deals with the problem of synchronization of dynamical systems. The following system \(x'=Ax +f(x) + \Gamma \xi\) is considered to be the driving system. Here, \(x\in \mathbb{R}^{n}\) is the state vector, \(\xi\) is an unknown input and \(\Gamma,A \in \mathbb{R}^{n\times m}\) are known matrices. The output \(y\) is realized as \(y=Cx\), where \(C\) is a matrix. The authors design an appropriate observer \(\bar x' = g(\bar x,y)\) such that it is globally exponentially synchronized with the driving system, i.e., \(\| x(t)-\bar x(t)\| \to 0\) exponentially for all possible initial conditions.
