Regularity of minimizers for nonconvex vectorial integrals with \(p-q\) growth via relaxation methods (Q1773490): Difference between revisions

The authors discuss the regularity properties of vector functions \(u: \mathbb{R}^n\supset\Omega\to \mathbb{R}^N\) which locally minimize the nonhomogeneous functional \(I(u,\Omega)= \int_\Omega f(x, \nabla u)\,dx\). Here \(f\) is assumed to be of radial structure and to satisfy the condition of uniform convexity w.r.t. the last argument only at infinity. Using semicontinuity and relaxation results regularity of such local minimizers is established.
