New singular solutions of Protter's problem for the 3D wave equation (Q1773513): Difference between revisions

One formulates the 2D boundary value problem corresponding to the 3D Protter's problem and using Riemann functions one shows a way to find nontrivial solutions. The existence of a singular generalized solution for the 3D problem is discussed. Some lower estimates for the generalized solutions are proved. The authors use and extend some of the results obtained in previous two articles of \textit{M. K.Grammatikopoulos, T. D. Hristov} and \textit{N. I. Popivanov} [Electron. J. Differ.
