The authors consider several kinds of convergence of sequences of real numbers with indices \((m_1,\dots, m_n)\in N^n\) and deal with the respective versions of pointwise and uniform convergences of real functions. They prove a theorem about generalized Baire classes of real functions. Some connections among the introduced convergence and filter convergence initiated by \textit{F. Nuray} and \textit{W. H. Ruckle} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 245, No.~2, 513--527 (2000; Zbl 0955.40001)] and ideal convergence initiated by \textit{P. Kostyrko}, \textit{T. Šalát} and \textit{W. Wilczyński} [Real Anal. Exch. 26, No.~2, 669--685 (2001; Zbl 1021.40001)] are investigated.
