In continuation of his similarly titled paper [J. Phys. A, Math. Gen. 36, No. 16, L249--L254 (2003; Zbl 1048.65056)], the author proves a global convergence theorem for the dynamical systems method applied to an equation on a real Hilbert space with a monotone \(C^2_{\text{loc}}\) operator, which may be ill-posed in the sense that the first derivative has a no bounded inverse.
