The authors prove a multi-dimensional variant of a theorem involving an exponential boundedness criterion for the classical moment problem. For this purpose, they use the theory of holomorphic functions of several complex variables. They also extend previous results concerning the relation between the multi-dimensional and one-dimensional moment problems to the case of half-lines and compact subsets of the real line. With the aid of these results, they solve moment problems for quantum phase space observables generated by the number states.
