The authors obtained necessary and sufficient conditions for solvability of the one-sided tangential interpolation with an \(H_2\) constaint. The interpolants are functions of several variables defined on a polydisc taking its values in the Hilbert space of the Hilbert-Schmidt operators. The main idea to approach this problem of multivariable interpolation is to reduce it to a one-variable case. Explicit formulas for the set of all solutions including the minimal \(H_2\) norm solution are given.
