The authors discuss the possibility of using the autooscillating regimes of the liquid flowing from plane vertical flooded channels for the development of a new method of noncontact determination of the liquid flow rate in pipelines. One of the versions of a constructive realization of the idea is considered. The results of the laboratory tests are presented.
