Let \(X\) be a compact Kähler manifold of complex dimension \(n\) and Kähler form \(\Omega\), equipped with a holomorphic Hermitian line bundle \(L\to X\) such that the curvature of its natural connection is \(\Omega\). For each positive integer \(k\), let \(S_k=H^0(X,L^{\otimes k})\) be the complex inner-product space of holomorphic sections of the \(k\)th tensor power of \(L\). In this paper, to certain immersed Lagrangian submanifolds \(A\to X\), which will be called Bohr-Sommerfeld Lagrangians, the authors associate sequences of sections \(u_k\in S_k\), \(k=1,2,\dots\) and to each such sequence it is associated a symbol which is a half-form on \(A\). The main results from the paper are given by Theorem 3.2 which indicates the asymptotics of the matrix elements \((Tu_k,u_k)\), where \(T\) is a Toeplitz operator and by Theorem 3.12 which establishes the local realization: \(u_k(x)=k^{n/2}\text{ (Gaussian)}+ O(k^{(n-1)/2})\). Thus is established a precise correspondence between Bohr-Sommerfeld Lagrangian submanifolds of \(X\) (equipped with half-forms) and certain sequences of states depending on \(k\). Motivation for this comes from general quantization/semiclassical ideas in the context of Kähler phase spaces. In the last section of the paper, some applications of the given construction to Poincaré series are also presented.
