Let \(G\) be a finite group. An odd nilpotent injector of \(G\) is defined to be a subgroup of \(G\) which is maximal with respect to being nilpotent of odd order and containing a subgroup of maximal order amongst all Abelian subgroups of odd order. Without using the classification of minimal simple groups the authors prove: if \(G\) is a minimal simple group, then the odd nilpotent injectors of \(G\) form a single conjugacy class in \(G\) (Theorem 8.10).
