    \textit{C. Carlet} et al. [Des. Codes Cryptography 52, No. 3, 303--338 (2009; Zbl 1174.94012)] and \textit{Q. C. Wang}, \textit{J. Peng}, \textit{H. B. Kan} and \textit{X. Y. Xue} [IEEE Trans. Inf. Theory 56, No. 6, 3048--3053 (2010; \url{doi:10.1109/TIT.2010.2046195})] have proposed two classes of Boolean functions with optimal algebraic immunity. The present authors prove that these classes are affine equivalent and they study the number of affine equivalence classes of these functions.
