The authors tackle Seifert's problem (Does a dissipative and almost-periodic equation possess an almost-periodic solution?) in the set-up of finite-dimensional ODEs \[ x'=f(t,x). \] Even if, in general, the answer is negative, affirmative results are given under a weak-convergence assumption. Beyond almost-periodic solutions, also those of (asymptotically) almost-automorphic, recurrent and pseudo-recurrent type are investigated using a skew-product setting.
