The Lelieuvre formula in affine geometry provides the relation between the basic tangent vectors to a surface in \(\mathbb{R}^3\) and its affine conormal vector. The authors find a projective analogue of the Lelieuvre formula for surfaces in three-dimensional projective space \(P^3\), and for hypersurfaces in the \((n+1)\)-dimensional projective space \(P^{n+1}\). They also present a discrete version of this formula in \(P^3\).
