Geometric quantization via cotangent models (Q2050653): Difference between revisions

The paper under review provides a new model for the geometric quantization which connects former models and brings us closer to the role of quantization as a mathematical tamer of the quantum world. The present approach takes the cotangent bundle as a general setup for the studied systems. The relationship between a Hamitonian system and the cotangent bundle is given by the cotangent lift and provide an unified tool to former attempts in the literature. A main advantage of the present method is that the geometric quantization of the integrable systems can be computed even if the global classification of integrable systems with non-degenerate singularities is unknown in general.
