A pseudo-cone is a nonempty convex set \(K \subseteq \mathbb{R}^n\), which does not contain the origin, and \(\lambda x \in K\) for all \(x \in K\) and \(\lambda \geq 1\). The class of closed pseudo-cones is studied in this paper, defining a new kind of duality of this class, which characterizes it. It is explained why the polar operator is not a good duality if the origin does not belong to the convex set. A classification of the dualities of the closed pseudo-cones is given.
