Looking at a prototypical system of nonlinearly coupled PDEs modeling chemotaxis in a two-populations configuration, the authors allow for stochastic perturbations of their target evolution system and then study the solvability of the resulting system in suitable spaces. In particular, they prove the existence of weak martingale solutions. Their approach relies on the use of the Faedo-Galerkin method, energy estimates, and a suitable compactness argument. Stampacchia's method was adapted to ensure the nonnegativity of solutions.
