Shift-invariant spaces have been widely applied in various fields such as approximation theory, mathematical sampling theory, communication engineering and so on, and have also been studied from the theoretical point of view on various group settings by several authors, some of them mentioned in this paper. The paper is devoted to studying left translates of a square integrable function on the Heisenberg group. A necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of the canonical dual to a function in \(L^2(\mathbb{R}^{2n})\) is obtained in the case of twisted shift-invariant spaces which are adapted to the case of the Heisenberg group.
