Continuing work by \textit{Ya. Berkovich, D. Chillag} and \textit{M. Herzog} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 115, No. 4, 955-959 (1992; Zbl 0822.20004)], the author classifies all soluble groups in which only two non-linear irreducible characters have equal degrees (Theorem 7). Non-soluble groups with this property were recently classified in a paper by \textit{Ya. Berkovich} and \textit{L. Kazarin} [J. Algebra 184, No. 2, 538-560 (1996; see the following review Zbl 0861.20009)].
