The authors consider the extension of Lie's third theorem for infinite dimensional Lie algebras. They give a new proof of the known result that the Poisson algebra of smooth real functions of a compact symplectic manifold is integrable. This proof one generalizes to the noncompact case and they prove the integrability of the Lie algebra of smooth functions with compact supports on a noncompact symplectic manifold.
