In the paper under review an ellipsitomic KZB system is defined. It is a twisted version of the genus-one KZB connection. This is a flat connection on a principal bundle over the moduli space of elliptic curves with a \(\Gamma\)-structure and \(n\) marked points, where \(\Gamma=\mathbb{Z}/N\mathbb{Z}+\mathbb{Z}/M\mathbb{Z}\) for some poisitive integers \(N\) and \(M\). The defined ellipsitomic KZB is used to derive the formality of some subgroups of the pure braid group on the torus.
