An algorithm for the numerical analysis of free vibrations of two conjugate shells of revolution is proposed. It is a variational method of approximate solutions of the spectral problem of vibrations of two conjugate shells. The solution of the spectral problem is based on the variational method and on the decomposition of the domain of integration of equations. A corresponding generalized functional is constructed. An example of the numerical analysis of vibrations of the shell formed by a circular cylinder and a truncated cone is analyzed. The numerical solutions are compared with the known results. It is shown that the proposed method has a sufficiently high computational efficiency and demonstrates the convergence of solutions.
