    Summary: Let \(T_\sigma\) be the multilinear Fourier multiplier operator associated with multiplier \(\sigma\) satisfying the Sobolev regularity that \(\sup_{\ell\in \mathbb Z}||\sigma_\ell||_{W^{s_1,\dots,s_m(\mathbb R^{mn})}}< \infty\) for some \(s_k \in (n/2, n] \, (k= 1,\dots,m)\). The authors prove that, if \(b_1,\dots ,b_m \in \mathrm{BMO}(\mathbb R^n)\) and \(\vec{w} \in \prod^m_{k=1} A _{p_k/t_k} (t_k=n/s_k)\), then the commutator \(T_{\sigma, \Sigma b}\) is bounded from \(L^{p_1}(\mathbb R^n, w_1) \times \cdots \times \, L^{p_m}(\mathbb R^n, w_m)\) to \(L^p(\mathbb R^n, v _{\vec{w}})\). Moreover, the authors also prove that if \(b_1,\dots ,b_m \in {\mathrm {VMO}}(\mathbb R^n)\) and \(\vec{w} \in \prod^m_{k=1} A _{p_k/t_k} (t_k=n/s_k)\), then the commutator \(T_{\sigma, \Sigma b}\) is compact operator from \(L^{p_1}(\mathbb R^n, w_1) \times \cdots \times \, L^{p_m}(\mathbb R^n, w_m)\) to \(L^p(\mathbb R^n, v _{\vec{w}})\).
