Let the triple zeta-function of Euler-Zagier type be given by \[ \zeta_ 3(s_ 1, s_ 2, s_ 3) = \sum_ {1\leq n_ 1 < n_ 2 < n_ 3} \frac{1}{n_ 1^ {s_ 1} n_ 2^ {s_ 2} n_ 3^ {s_ 3}}. \] The authors consider the problem of the order of magnitude for this zeta-function in the region \(0\leq \text{Re}\, s_j < 1\) \((j = 1,2,3)\). This is obtained by applying the Euler-Maclaurin summation formula and van der Corput's method of multiple exponential sums to the triple zeta-function. This paper is a continuation of the authors' previous work on the double zeta-function [Ann. Sc. Norm. Super. Pisa, Cl. Sci. (5) 5, No. 4, 445--464 (2006; Zbl 1170.11317)].
