This paper is concerned with the existence of a general equilibrium in an economy whose commodity space is a vector lattice. The authors aim at an existence theorem free from the requirement that the topology of the commodity space be locally solid (i.e., continuity of the lattice operations). They still require, however, that the price space itself be a lattice. The novelty of their proof of the existence theorem is that the argument is entirely disaggregated (i.e., upper contour sets are never added up).
