The authors obtain inequalities for generalized derivations of operator monotone functions in norm ideals of compact operators. Let us present a sample result here. Let \(\mathcal{H}\) denote a complex separable Hilbert space, \(\mathcal{B}(\mathcal{H})\) denote the space of bounded linear operators on \(\mathcal{H}\), and let \(\mathcal{C}_{\infty}(\mathcal{H})\) denote the space of compact linear operators on \(\mathcal{H}\). Let \(\Phi\) be a symmetrically norming function and let \(\mathcal{C}_{\Phi}(\mathcal{H})\) denote the associated norm ideal in \(\mathcal{C}_{\infty}(\mathcal{H})\). Let \(A, B, X \in \mathcal{B}(\mathcal{H})\), with \(A, B\) being normal operators. Suppose that \(AX-XB \in \mathcal{C}_{\Phi}(\mathcal{H})\). Let \(\phi\) be a non-constant Pick function. Then \[ \Vert\phi(A)X - X\phi(B)\Vert_{\Phi} \leq \bigg\lVert\sqrt{\phi' \bigg(\frac{A+A^*}{2}\bigg)} (AX - XB) \sqrt{\phi' \bigg(\frac{B+B^*}{2}\bigg)} \bigg\Vert_{\Phi}. \]
