In this paper, the authors establish an explicit relation between the growth of the maximum modulus and the Taylor coefficients of entire functions in several complex matrix variables (FSCMVs) using exhaustion by some hyperballs. The obtained formulas allow to compute the growth order and the growth type of some higher-dimensional matrix generalizations of the exponential, trigonometric, and some special entire functions of several complex matrix variables. Furthermore, an elementary result concerning comparison of growth of some function in these variables and its linear substitution is given. Let \[ \mathcal{F}(\mathbf{X})=\sum_{[n]=0}^{\infty}a_{n_1,n_2,\ldots,n_k} X_1^{n_1}X_2^{n_2}\ldots X_k^{n_k}=\sum_{[n]=0}^{\infty}a_n\mathbf{X}^n, \] be an entire function of several complex variables of common order \(N\), where \(X_i\) be commutative \(N\times N\) matrices with complex coefficients, \(a_{n_1,n_2,\ldots,n_k}\in\mathbb{C}\), \([n]=n_1+\ldots+n_k\). The maximum modulus of the function is defined as \[ M[\mathcal{F},\overline{\mathbf{S}}_R]=\max_{i,j} \max_{|X_1|<\|rt_1\|\ldots \|X_k\|<\|rt_k\|}|\mathcal{F}(\mathbf{X})| \] where \(\|rt_i\|=\begin{pmatrix} rt_i& \ldots& rt_i\\ \ldots& \ldots& \ldots\\ rt_i&\ldots & rt_i,\\ \end{pmatrix}\) is the \(N\times N\) matrix of radii, \(r>0,\) \(t_1^2+\ldots +t_k^2=1,\) \(|X_i|=\begin{pmatrix} |x_{i;1,1}| & \ldots & |x_{i;1,N}|\\ \ldots& \ldots& \ldots\\ |x_{i;N,1}| & \ldots & |x_{i;N,N}|\\ \end{pmatrix}\) and, for \(N\times N\) matrices \(A\) and \(B\), the inequality \(A< B\) means that \(a_{m,k}< b_{m,k}\) for \(m,k\in\{1,\ldots,N\}\). The authors define the order of growth of the maximum modulus of an entire function of several complex matrices by the following formula \[ \rho(\mathcal{F})=\limsup_{r\to\infty}\frac{\ln\ln M[\mathcal{F};\overline{\mathbf{S}}_r]}{\ln r}. \] The main result of the paper is the following. Theorem. For an entire function in several complex matrix variables one has \[ \rho(\mathcal{F})=\limsup_{\mathbf{n}\to\infty}\frac{[\mathbf{n}]\ln([\mathbf{n}])}{-\ln|a_{\mathbf{n}}/K_{\mathbf{n}}|}, \] where \(K_{\mathbf{n}}=\frac{\sigma_{\mathbf{n}}}{N^{[\mathbf{n}]}}\) and \(\sigma_{\mathbf{n}}=\inf_{|t|=1}\frac{1}{t^{\mathbf{n}}}=\frac{[\mathbf{n}]^{[n]/2}}{\prod_{s=1}^km_s^{m_s/2}}\). A similar result was also derived by the authors for their concept of growth type for entire functions of several complex matrices.
