The author considers some natural constructions of indecomposable modules such as outer tensor products, inner tensor products, tensor induction, induction, restriction, wreath products and studies their vertices. The following is a typical result. Let \(F\) be an algebraically closed field of characteristic \(p\neq 0\), let \(G\) and \(H\) be finite groups, let \(M\) be an indecomposable \(FG\)-module with vertex \(V\), source \(S\) in \(V\) and Green correspondent \(K\) in \(N_ G(V)\), and let \(N\) be an indecomposable \(FH\)-module with vertex \(W\), source \(T\) in \(W\) and Green correspondent \(L\) in \(N_ H(W)\). Then \(M\otimes_ F N\) is an indecomposable \(F[G\times H]\)-module with vertex \(V\times W\), source \(S\otimes_ F T\) in \(V\times W\) and Green correspondent \(K\otimes_ F L\) in \(N_{G\times H}(V\times W) = N_ G(V)\times N_ H(W)\).
