This paper studies the relationship between two transcendental meromorphic functions \(f\) and \(g\) when two specific types of differential polynomial namely \([f^{n}(f-1)^{m}]^{(k)}\) and \([g^{n}(g-1)^{m}]^{(k)}\) share a non-zero polynomial \(P\) where \(n\), \(k\) be two positive integers and \(m\) is a non-negative integer. There results generalize and improve the results of \textit{X.-M. Li} and \textit{L. Gao} [Bull. Korean Math. Soc. 47, No. 2, 319--339 (2010; Zbl 1189.30066)].
