In this paper, the authors study the uniqueness of the solution for ordinary differential equations of the type \[ u^{(n)}(t) = f (u(t)) \eqno (1) \] which satisfies \[ u(0) = u'(0)=\dots = u^{(m-1)}(0)=0, \text{ and } u^{(m)}(0)\neq 0, \] where \(m\geq n\). They show that any smooth function of finite order vanishing at 0 is a unique local solution of a differential equation of the form of (1), where \(f\) is differentiable in the interior and uniformly Hölder continuous up to the boundary.
