The authors begin by defining the notion of flocking (or \textit{co-ordinated motion}) in a stochastic context and the idea of a stochastically perturbed Cucker-Smale system. They then investigate whether such flocking can be expected in a stochastically driven particle system, and the conditions under which this might occur. Statistical quantities of the random velocity process leading to time-asymptotic strong flocking are obtained, and numerical simulations are given and discussed.
