The authors study the actions \(L_{\lambda},\,\lambda\in\mathbb R\), of the Lie algebra \(V\) of polynomial vector fields on \(\mathbb R\) on the vector space \(\mathcal F_{\lambda} = \{fdx^{\lambda}\mid f\in\mathbb R[x]\}\) of polynomial densities of the weight \(\lambda\in \mathbb R\) on \(\mathbb R\) defined by \(g\frac{d}{dx}(fdx^{\lambda}) =(gf + \lambda g'f)dx^{\lambda}\). Any differential operator \(A\) on \(\mathbb R\) is interpreted as the linear mapping \(\mathcal F_{\lambda}\to \mathcal F_{\mu}\) given by \(fdx^{\lambda}\mapsto (Af)dx^{\mu}\). This permits to define, for any \(\lambda,\mu \in\mathbb R\), the linear action of \(V\) on the vector space of differential operators, given by \(L_X^{\lambda,\mu}(A) = L_X^{\mu}\circ A - A\circ L_X^{\lambda},\, A\in V\). The \(V\)-module \(D_{\lambda,\mu}\) possesses the natural filtration by orders of differential operators, and the corresponding graded \(V\)-module is called the space of symbols. This graded \(V\)-module depends, up to isomorphism, only on \(\delta = \mu - \lambda\) and is denoted by \(S_{\delta}\). The Lie algebra \(V\) contains the subalgebra spanned by \(\frac{d}{dx}, x\frac{d}{dx}, x^2\frac{d}{dx}\) which is isomorphic to \(\mathfrak{sl}(2)\), and thus we get a family of infinite dimensional \(\mathfrak{sl}(2)\)-modules \(S_{\delta}\). Using the description of infinitesimal deformations of these modules given by \textit{P. B. A.~Lecomte} [Indag. Math., New Ser. 11, 95--114 (2000; Zbl 0990.58017)], the authors find necessary and sufficient conditions for their integrability and prove that any formal deformation is equivalent to its infinitesimal part. In the second part of the paper, the super analogues of these problems are studied and similar results concerning infinitesimal deformations are obtained. Here the superspace \(\mathbb R^{1| 1}\) and the Lie superalgebra \(\mathfrak{osp}(1| 2)\) instead of \(\mathbb R\) and \(\mathfrak{sl}(2)\) are considered.
