    The main theme of study in this nice paper is the investigation of a class of embeddings between Bruhat-Tits buildings. More precisely let \(G\) be a unitary group over a non-Archimedean local field (characteristic \(\neq 2\)). Let \(\mathfrak g\) be the Lie algebra of \(G\) and let \(H\) be the centralizer of a semisimple rational Lie algebra element of \(\mathfrak g\). Denote by \(\mathfrak B^1(H)\) and \(\mathfrak B^1(G)\) the Bruhat-Tits buildings of \(H\) and \(G\), respectively. The main result of the paper states that there is a \(G\)-equivariant embedding \(j\colon\mathfrak B^1(H)\to\mathfrak B^1(G)\) which preserves the Moy-Prasad filtration. This embedding is essentially unique.
