In this interesting paper the authors provide a unified approach in deriving Harnack inequalities for solutions of two different types of PDEs. The first one regards non-negative (viscosity) solutions of the fully nonlinear equation \[ H(x, u, Du, D^2u) = g(x, u), \] where the principal part \(H(x, u, Du, D^2u)\) satisfies appropriate structural conditions related to the Pucci extremal operators, while the lower order term \(g(x,u)\) is of Keller-Osserman type. Further, quasilinear equations of \(p\)-Laplacian type \[ \Delta_p u + b(x)u^{p-1}=g(x,u) \] are considered with \(g\) as before.
