\textit{D. O. Orlov} proved in [J. Math. Sci., New York 84, No. 5, 1361--1381 (1997; Zbl 0938.14019)] that every equivalence between two bounded derived categories of coherent sheaves associated to smooth projective varieties over algebraically closed fields is equivalent to a Fourier-Mukai transform. However, Fourier-Mukai functors are not necessarily fully faithfull. So a natural question is if Orlov's theorem can be extended to a larger class of functors. In the present paper the author identify some particular exact functors which are in fact isomorphic to Fourier-Mukai functors (Theorem 1.2). In order to do this the sheaves on the product of two projective varieties over algebraically closed fields that are canonically associated to some exact functors between the derived categories of coherent sheaves associated the these varieties are computed (Theorem 2.1).
