The author continues the study of relatively minimal fibration \(f : X \to \mathbb{P}^1\) on a smooth rational surface X, where a general fibre \(F\) is of genus \(g \geq 2\). It is known that \(K_X + F\) is nef and \(h^0(X, K_X+F) = g\); \(\Phi_{| K_X+F| }\) gives rise to a morphism (resp. birational morphism) onto the image if the self intersection \(d:= (K_X+F)^2\) is \(\leq 2g-4\) (resp. \(\leq 2g-5\)). if \(F\) is either trigonal or plane quintic then either \(d = g-2\) or \(d \geq 2g-5\); if \(F\) is hyperelliptic then either \(d = 0\) or \(d \geq 2g-4\); in both cases, the essential one is the second situation, so the author studies here the smallest possible value of \(d\) in these two essential ones. Namely, he gives the complete classifications of the following cases in five theorems (cf. the paper for the details): (A) \(d = 2g-5\), \(g \geq 4\), and \(F\) is either trigonal or plane quintic. (B) \(d = 2g-4\) and \(| K_X+F| \) gives rise to a morphism of degree 2 onto the image.
