    The authors present the full discretization of an elliptic optimal control problem with pointwise control and state constraints. It is worth mentioning that the error estimator converges to zero, if one has convergence of the discrete solutions to the solution of the given problem. Convergence of the error bound is analyzed and a numerical experiment is discussed in the form of two examples. The paper is presented in a self-contained manner.
