Let \(k\) be an algebraically closed field of characteristic \(p>0\) and let \(G\) and \(G'\) be two finite groups. Let \(b\) be a block of \(kG\) and \(b'\) be a block of \(kG'\). A \(k(G\times G')\)-bimodule \(M\) inducing a Morita equivalence between the blocks \(b\) and \(b'\) is called basic if its source modules have dimension prime to \(p\). It is known by earlier work of the first author that then the defect groups \(P\) of \(b\) and \(P'\) of \(b'\) are isomorphic. Moreover, choosing points \(\gamma\) and \(\gamma'\) the isomorphism induces a bijection \(F\) of the sets \(LP(P_\gamma)\) and \(LP(P'_{\gamma'})\) of local pointed groups contained in \(P_\gamma\) and \(P'_{\gamma'}\) respectively. In the present paper the authors show that for a local pointed group \(Q_\delta\) in \(P_\gamma\) denoting \(Q_{\delta'}:=F(Q_\delta)\), the basic Morita equivalence \(M\) induces a Morita equivalence between certain corresponding blocks of the normalizers of \(Q_\delta\) and of \(Q_{\delta'}\) in \(G\) and in \(G'\), respectively.
