A note on the theorem of Leray--Schauder (Q2466890): Difference between revisions

This paper, using mainly arguments based on Leray--Schauder degree, deals with continua of fixed points of a family of compact operators of a Banach space into itself. This topic places it within that rich part of the literature concerning global bifurcation and continuation methods where comparable problems and results are obtained on analogous grounds. Unfortunately, the paper contains some imprecisions and the few given references fail to place it in proper perspective.
