Consider the Lotka-Volterra system \[ {dx\over dt}= x\circ B(e_0-x),\tag{\(*\)} \] where \(\circ\) denotes the coordinate-wise product of two vectors, \[ e_0= \begin{pmatrix} 1\\ 1\\ 1\end{pmatrix},\quad B= \begin{pmatrix} b_0 & b_1 & b_2\\ b_2 & b_0 & b_1\\ b_1 & b_2 &b_0\end{pmatrix}. \] The author proves that under the conditions \[ b_1+ b_2> 2b_0,\quad b_1> b_0> b_2 \] the attractor of all solutions of \((*)\) with positive initial condition consists of a heteroclinic cycle with three equilibria.
