In this interesting paper the author introduces the Euler characteristic for finite categories. It is proved that this characteristic is compatible with Euler characteristics defined for other objects (Section 2). In the last part of the paper the author generalizes the classical inclusion-exclusion formula (Section 3) and Rota's Möbius inversion for posets (Section 4).
