The author proves two theorems concerning the pseudopower function pp. Let \(\kappa < \lambda\) be two singular cardinals. The first result deals with the situation when \(\text{cf} (\kappa) < \text{cf} (\lambda)\) and pp\((\mu) = \mu^+\) for all sufficiently large \(\mu < \kappa\) with \(\text{cf} (\mu) = \text{cf} (\lambda)\). A condition is given that suffices to show that pp\((\lambda) = \lambda^+\). For the second result it is assumed that \(\text{cf} (\kappa) > \omega\) and pp\((\lambda) \geq \lambda^{+m}\) for some \(m\) with \(1\leq m\leq \omega\). It is shown that if certain conditions are satisfied, then there exist cardinals \(\kappa' < \lambda' < \kappa\) such that pp\((\lambda') \geq (\lambda')^{+m}\) and \(\lambda' < \text{pp}_\theta (\kappa')\), where \(\theta = \beth_3~ (\omega_1)\).
